Your school shapes your whole F-1 life.
Only schools certified by SEVP (the Student and Exchange Visitor Program) can issue the I-20 you need for F-1 status. But certified is just the start. The school decides your schedule, your costs, your class format, whether you can do practical training and how easily you can move on to the next degree. A wrong choice can cost you money and time. A good one makes everything else easier.
What we look at before we suggest a single school.
- Your goal
- English, a degree, a career change, a master's or a doctorate.
- Your budget
- Tuition, fees and living costs in each city.
- Your English today
- Some selected programs accept students without an English test.
- Class format
- Hybrid (online classes plus required on-campus hours) or mostly on campus.
- Practical training
- Programs where eligible students may do CPT, including Day 1 CPT in some graduate programs.
- Location
- The state and city where your life fits: family, community, climate, cost.
- Your current status
- If you're already in the U.S., your school plan has to work with your situation, and our partner attorneys review that part.
From English classes to a doctorate.
- English as a Second Language (ESL)
- Community college and associate degrees
- Bachelor's degrees
- Master's degrees and MBAs
- Doctorates
- STEAM programs, some with Day 1 CPT for eligible students
- Faith and ministry programs
Scholarships may be available in some programs. We'll tell you when they apply to you. We don't publish partner school names. You'll see the real options, with full details, in your consultation.
How it works
Free consultation
We study your profile.
Shortlist
You get options with costs, format and location side by side.
Enrollment
We prepare and submit your application and documents, and follow up until the I-20 is issued.
Next steps
Interview practice if you're abroad, or your hand-off to our partner law firm if you're changing or fixing status.
What we do, and what we don't
We do
- Profile analysis
- School and program selection
- Application and enrollment
- I-20 follow-up
- Document organization
We don't
- Issue I-20s (only the school does)
- Decide visas
- Give legal advice or file immigration forms
Those steps belong to the school, the government and our partner attorneys.
What is a SEVP-certified school?
It's a school approved by the Student and Exchange Visitor Program to enroll F-1 students and issue the Form I-20. You can check any school on the official Study in the States website.
Do you charge for school placement?
The first consultation is free. After it, we explain our fees clearly before you decide.
Can I study without an English test?
In selected programs, yes. Some institutions evaluate your level after admission and include English classes in your plan.
Are hybrid programs allowed on F-1?
F-1 students must follow limits on online study. Hybrid programs in our network combine online classes with required on-campus hours to stay within those rules. The school confirms your schedule.
What is Day 1 CPT?
Some graduate programs let eligible students start curricular practical training from the first term, when it's part of the curriculum. The school authorizes CPT, not us.
Why don't you list your partner schools?
We prefer to show options that fit you, with full context, in a conversation. You'll know every detail before you choose.
