What we are not
We are not a law firm. We are not attorneys in any state, and we are not accredited representatives. We are not a government agency and we are not affiliated with USCIS, ICE, SEVP, the Department of State or any consulate. We do not issue I-20s (only schools do) and we do not issue visas.
What we do not do
We do not give legal advice. We do not choose the legal strategy for your case. We do not represent anyone before USCIS, ICE, immigration courts, the Department of State or any consulate. We do not prepare or file immigration forms.
Legal services
Immigration legal services mentioned on this site, including change of status, reinstatement, work, talent, religious, family and asylum cases, are provided by an independent partner law firm, Caroba & Caroba, through its licensed attorneys and under its own agreement with each client. Ampara does not provide these services.
When you need an attorney
If you have a visa denial, a request for evidence, a history of overstay, any criminal history, a removal proceeding, a terminated SEVIS record, or any question about your legal status, speak with a licensed immigration attorney before acting.
No guarantee
Decisions about visas, admission to the U.S., change of status, reinstatement and work authorization are made only by the U.S. government. No result is guaranteed. Program features such as hybrid formats, admission without an English test, scholarships and practical training (CPT/OPT) vary by institution and program, and are subject to school approval and U.S. rules. Past results do not guarantee future results.
